2022.01.26 23:36 nicedreams726 How do you work branch offices?
How have you worked with branch offices and organizing them? Is there something like OU's for the cloud?
I'm taking on a job where they are one company, but have different branches in different states. Right now they all use different @domainnames.com, but want me to merge them all into a single @companyname.com. This part I'm fine with.
The issue is that each branch has the same department groups and teams as the other states, but want to keep them separate and private. How can I make this easy to organize so I don't make it confusing later? Should I create groups like
location-technicians, etc and work the rest like that or is there a better way?

2022.01.26 23:36 -1point21gigawatts- I feel like I’ve run out of medication options and I’m losing my mind
I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I am allergic to gabapentinoids and cannot take Lyrica or Gabapentin. Cymbalta is an SNRI and even at a low dose, it made almost all my pain go away but I had urinary retention and couldn’t urinate so I was switched to Effexor. Effexor is also an SNRI and I was started at the lowest dose, it helped with my pain some, but is now giving me the same urinary issues. Savella is also an SNRI and I’m afraid because it’s in the same class that it will also give me urinary retention.
I feel like I’ve run out of options and I feel like giving up. Im so tired of being in pain. I have no idea what to do. I have no insurance and have spent several hundred dollars the last few weeks going to my doctor and paying for script after script that end up not working. Is there ANY other treatment for Fibromyalgia other than SNRI’s or gabapentinoids?

2022.01.26 23:36 BobWheelerJr Is there anything worse...
other than three-putting for par, than waiting for new clubs to arrive after you've paid for them?
This is my first experience with delayed gratification regarding golf, after buying a set of Callaways that won't ship til mid-February.
I'm trying to mask the effects with copious amounts of alcohol and Golf Channel, but I only ordered yesterday and I already feel like I'm going to shit my pancreas.
Help me Jesus. I'm dying...

Anyone have a LMT or KAC adjustable BUIS? Price is negotiable, don't care much about the salt but if you dibs, please send out a pic so I can make sure its the model I'm after (the naming schemes are way too similar for different products. The one I'm looking for, for instance, is the "200-600 meter adjustable folding micro rear sight" for KAC.)

2022.01.26 23:36 sticky-icky-kushco Edits made to photos (particularly screen shots) not saving- HELP
I’ve googled this for a week and I’m hitting walls. This is a new upgraded phone and I can’t find the answer to this even though many sites have this question with different answers- none have worked for me.
When I take a screen shot then edit it (like crop) it will save and in my photos I can see it is edited, but when I share it either via messaging or on a post, it is the original, unedited.
I’ve googled this and tried different solutions from different sites but none work, please help!

2022.01.26 23:36 ConsciousRate492 Dhyanam
śanaiḥ śanairuparamēd-buddhyā dhṛtigṛhītayā | ātmasaṃsthaṃ manaḥ kṛtvā na kiñcidapi cintayēt || 6.25 || One should withdraw (the mind) gradually by the intellect, which is endowed with will. Having made the mind abide in the Ātma, one should not think of anything else.
How do we withdraw the mind from the world, family, possessions etc. ? By not claiming them as 'mine'. Thus attachment can be dropped, and mind will relax. Similarly we can drop our body, our mind, our thoughts, even our breath. Because we are aware of thoughts, we are not the thought. We are aware of the breath, we are not the breath. Finally own one's Self as awareness (Atma) behind the thoughts & breath. Once the mind has come to Atma, let the mind meditate upon Atma by recalling its features. The mind abiding in Atma means the mind has thoughts only about Atma. This is Dhyanam.

2022.01.26 23:36 daXfactorz daXfactorz's Precolonial Africa Happy Fun Learning Time: West Africa
Hello again, and welcome to another post where I tell you about the pre-colonial civilizations of each African voting region in a desperate attempt to get even one of them into the game! This time we’re going through West Africa, where there are only two pre-colonial civs, both of whom are technically repeats but not really. (Liberia is also way older than the Scramble for Africa, but as a nation for resettled slaves it doesn’t quite count and even though it’s cool I’m disqualifying it.)
If you know one kingdom from sub-Saharan Africa, it’s probably Mali. While it’s best known for Mansa Musa, Mali had already been around for several hundred years by the time Mansa Musa came to power. Originally, the Mandinka people who would later form Mali lived in a small collection of city-states on the fringes of the Ghana Empire. As the Ghana Empire collapsed, however, the entire region of West Africa was thrown into chaos, and the Sosso Empire began to take power. According to legend, the Sosso Empire was ruled by a cruel king named Soumaoro Kante. To free themselves from this tyranny, the Mandinka people rallied behind one Sundiata Keita.
Long story short, Sundiata Keita not only beat Soumaoro Kante in 1234 CE, but he also proceeded to conquer the Sosso and establish the Mali Empire, taking control of some major trade routes along the way. Sundiata also conquered the rest of the former Ghana Empire, along with Jolof and Kaabu in modern-day Senegambia and Guinea-Bissau. It’s not known quite how Sundiata died, but he likely drowned in the Sankarani River.
After Sundiata’s death, well, the rest is history. The Mali Empire continued to grow, passing through the hands of Sundiata’s descendants (except for that one time a court slave named Sakura took control and did a damn good job of expanding the empire before getting killed on his way back from his pilgrimage to Mecca), including Mansa Musa, who brought Mali to the attention of Europe and the Middle East and transformed the empire into a center of knowledge and culture. Unfortunately, after a few more solid rulers, Mali began to decline under poor rulership that nearly bankrupted the empire and succession crises. Several regions of the empire split off, including the Songhai, who took over Mali’s role as the main West African power as Mali continued to decline. However, Mali wasn’t actually ever fully conquered by Songhai - in fact, the Mali Empire in its diminished form outlasted the Songhai! While Mali did end up narrowly losing a battle to the same Moroccan force that destroyed the Songhai Empire at Tondibi, the Moroccans apparently respected the Mali military force enough that they let Mali stick around. Too bad the empire fractured shortly after and then fell to the Bamana Empire in 1670.
tl;dr some asshole is such a bad ruler that a significantly cooler dude revolts, wins, and establishes the most famous empire in Africa out of spite - said empire proceeds to get filthy rich
From the first king of Mali to the first king of Mali’s “successor”, we have Sonni Ali’s Songhai. Songhai began its existence as Gao, a modest empire along the trans-Saharan trade route that was conquered by Mali during the reign of Mansa Musa. As the Mali Empire began to fall on hard times around 1350, Gao revolted and regained its independence, but it wasn’t until 1464 that the Songhai Empire would kick off.
When Sonni Ali rose to power, he wasted no time conquering basically everything he could. He took several major cities from the declining Mali Empire, including Timbuktu and Djenne, and fought off the nearby Dogon and Mossi people. He also built a fleet along the Niger River (the origin of his UU). However, he isn’t exactly remembered fondly by everyone - some sources describe him as a tyrant, and he’s known to have devastated Timbuktu and its scholar population in his attempts to gain better control over the city. Regardless of whether he was actually that bad, though, the point remains that Sonni Ali founded the Songhai Empire and expanded it to the point that it eclipsed the Mali Empire.
After Sonni Ali died, his son took over, but he was quickly overthrown by Askia (of Civ 5 vanilla fame, of course), who continued expansion through diplomacy and turned Timbuktu back into a city of scholars. However, Askia was overthrown by his sons and the Songhai Empire quickly began to decline. The empire was ravaged by civil war and political strife, which made it an easy target for a trans-Saharan Moroccan invasion in 1591.
tl;dr man invents Mali 2: This Time It’s Bigger, builds a rad river fleet, and beats up scholars in Timbuktu
